I try to be straightforward, open and transparent, but there may be something I have not answered for you. Please ask. 

I am always happy to answer your questions.

I understand there are several website design companies you can choose from. I work hard to understand your website needs and translate those into something you can be proud of. I am a small business too, and want my customers to be happy. Most importantly, I want to give you the tools you need to succeed – including training you on how to make changes to your site once it is completed.

WordPress has the most flexibility and is a leader in the website industry, so I build all my sites using WordPress. Don’t worry, I will teach you how to easily make updates and changes to your site–so don’t let WordPress scare you if you have had frustrations with it in the past. I will set it up so everything is simple and easy to use.

I require 50% payment up-front to get started, with the rest due on completion. Most sites have a 2 to 3 week turnaround. Full payment needs to be received before the website is turned over to you.

I do offer a “rush” service for an additional fee. See the pricing page for more details.

Absolutely! That is part of the complete package offered to everyone. It is included in the price of your website. Before launching your site, I will meet with you online and complete a recorded screenshare where I walk you through everything and answer any questions you have. I want to make sure you are comfortable with your new site. I also include 30-days of website maintenance/training to answer any questions that may come up along the way as you get used to your new site.

For those business owners who prefer a hands-off approach, I offer a monthly maintenance package, hourly rates, and a-la-carte services if you have other needs that come up. Otherwise, once we launch, I give the website to you to maintain and update. (Although I do include 30 days of any needed maintenance that arises.)

As we are designing and building the website, I welcome ALL your feedback. This is your site, let’s make sure it looks like and says what you want. I expect revisions along the way to make sure it reflects your business. Once the site is launched and you have been trained, you will be responsible for your own revisions unless you want to use one of my a-la-carte services.

I am happy to help you with your website content, but you will be primarily responsible for writing it and making sure it says what you want. As hard as I try, I can’t always convey in words what is in your head. You are the expert at your business and know what information your customers need and want to know.

I have a questionnaire for you to you fill out that will get us started. Feel free to make as many revisions to the website copy as you want along the way. 

Yes. with your help on focus keywords you want to be ranked for, I get those posted in your site title and descriptions as well as on your page as much as possible. I also use SEO plugins and get your site registered and indexed with Google Search Console to help you rank better in searches. However, I cannot guarantee your site rankings in Google.

To make sure each of my customers receive the individualized attention they need, I limit my website projects to 5 a month. If you are ready to get started, let’s get you on the list!

You will need your own domain and hosting. This is not included in your price. I will walk you through this process and help you get it set up. After your contract is signed, I will email you a project questionnaire to begin working on. This helps us both get a clear vision of your business website needs. 

Not at this time. We can link your website to an outside store like Etsy, Ebay, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, etc. However, I do not set up website stores at this time. Check back with me in the future as I get that finalized and am able to offer it to my customers.

Absolutely! If you don’t already own your domain, we will get it registered to you when we set up your hosting account. 

NOTE: domain registration subscriptions MUST be updated yearly or they are lost.
